G&A Auto was founded in 1983 by Michel Aubé. It is located in Williamsburg, Eastern Ontario, just north of Highway 401. Apprenticed to a Peugeot dealer in 1972, Michel bought his first Peugeot that year (a right-hand drive, African, Peugeot 204). A licensed mechanic by 1976, he has worked for himself since then. He is experienced in working on heavy equipment, including stationary installations, as well smaller vehicles, both gasoline and Diesel. He can deal with anything from a 50cc Moped to a large Earth Mover. G&A is an Ontario Motor Vehicle Inspection Station for all vehicles including heavy equipment.

G&A serves a regional clientele and is within easy reach of Montreal, Ottawa, and Toronto. This is important for clients in the Canadian Film and Television industry who rely on G&A's specialist collection of period rental vehicles for use on screen.

G&A makes its collection of European cars and trucks available for film, television and advertising projects. For example the 1955 Peugeot canvas top pickup truck has been featured in wine advertising — it is the very image of a French vineyard proprietor's work truck.

Peugeot specialists, G&A can maintain any model of the marque as well as carry out complete mechanical refurbishing. This service is also available for other European, imported, and domestic vehicles. A large stock of Peugeot parts is held, and virtually any replacement component can be supplied.

G&A Auto has a 24/7 Breakdown and Towing service using flat-bed towing trucks.
